Actually Intelligent podcast: Brian Westpoint, Claude Ambassador

What does a Claude Ambassador actually do? For Brian Westpoint, it starts with giving people a place to try AI, ask questions, and see where it fits into their lives.

On this episode of Actually Intelligent, BAM’s Senior Community Manager, Ramel Wallace, sat down with Brian to talk about how he introduces people to Claude through local events and grassroots outreach. Brian is a Claude Ambassador for San Diego, co-founder of Movement Matters Collective, and founder of Sankara Connects.

They got into how a nonprofit might use AI to get started on a grant proposal, how it can help with something as everyday as figuring out dinner, and what comes up when people ask whether AI could take their jobs. Those conversations are part of what makes Brian’s role interesting: he gets to hear what people actually want help with and what still makes them uneasy.
