Favorite hobby:
Traveling, hands down. I grew up in El Paso, Texas, a border town with a freeway separating us from Mexico. Being able to spend weekends and summers in Mexico, where storytelling is part of our culture, foreshadowed what I would be doing as my career as an adult. Now, having been able to travel more as an adult, the statement still stands with any new place I visit or person I meet… What is their story?
Fun fact:
I earned my Associate's degree before even finishing high school, at 16 years old. I then completed both undergrad and grad school within only four years. I hope to get my doctorate one day.
